KUALA LUMPUR (April 3): Eco World International Bhd (EWI) made its debut on Bursa Malaysia today with an opening price of RM1.31, equivalent to 9.16% premium above initial public offering (IPO) price of RM1.20 per share.

Right after the opening bell was sounded, the counter saw a first tranche of 14.3 million shares, the counter subsequently went as high as RM1.36 sen apiece as at 9:30am.

The stock was the most actively traded counter so far.

EWI's warrant, EWI-WA, jumped 61 times to 30.5 sen per unit from from 0.5 sen initially.
