KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 22): Plantation firm Tanah Makmur Bhd’s subsidiary has bagged a contract to develop Pahang’s new state administrative complex for RM415.52 million.

In a bourse filing yesterday, Tanah Makmur, which is in the midst of being taken private by its major shareholder, Pahang Crown Prince Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, said the contract was secured by its 65%-owned unit Kreatif Sinar Gabungan Sdn Bhd.

The development was initially proposed by Tanah Makmur in 2014, to the Pahang government to be incorporated into the KotaSAS township, prior to the group’s initial public offering at the time.

Kreatif Sinar Gabungan received the letter of award dated Dec 14, for the project from the Pahang government yesterday.
