As the main business hub serving the residents of the USJ neighbourhoods in Subang Jaya, Taipan Business Centre is renowned for its various offerings in terms of food, shopping and banking services. Several well-known national and multinational companies have also established their offices within the hub such as Proton, Lotus Cars and Faber Castell.
Christopher Wong from Reapfield Properties who had concluded this deal had shared that the owner first bought the property back in the 1990s. He had bought the property when it was first launched and has now decided to cash it out for his retirement.
Meanwhile, the buyer has been renting a unit in the Taipan area for four years. Wong explained that the buyer, who is already familiar with the area, wanted to purchase this unit as the location will make their business more prominent.
The unit is located in the outer ring location of Taipan Business Centre, where it is fronting the main road.
It was a good deal for the owner as he had managed to sell it at a right price, he was initially concerned that the outer ring location would be less favourable compared to the inner ring location.
As of mid-March 2022, only one shoplot at Taipan Business Centre has been listed for sale on EdgeProp.my with an asking price of RM8.66 million or RM549.52 psf based on built-up while three shoplots have been listed for rental with an average asking price of RM3,000 or RM1.82 psf based on built-up.
