Bandar Mahkota Cheras was established around the year 2000 by developer Narajaya Sdn Bhd. For its commercial component, the 365 hectares of freehold township consisted mainly of two-storey and three-storey shop offices.
Concluded by Lydia Sim of Centricity Realty, this three-storey shoplot located in Jalan Temenggung of Bandar Mahkota Cheras is currently being tenanted by Health Lane Family Pharmacy.
With Health Lane Family renting the unit, Sim shared that the owners were happy as they had been searching for a tenant that could commit for a longer period of time.
“The landlord was looking for a long-term tenant and was happy with Health Lane Family Pharmacy as it is a growing chain of pharmacy with more than 30 years of experience,” said Sim.
For the tenant, they have been looking for a corner unit that comes with an ample car park space for their customers.
“They actually waited for any available corner unit in the Mahkota Cheras area,” as Sim added that they have another outlet just 4km drive away in Cheras Trader.
“With more than 50,000 people in this area, they wanted to provide a better convenience to households here even though they already have another outlet in Cheras Trader which is less than 4 km drive away.
As of end-February 2022, a total of 22 units in Jalan Temenggung have been listed for sale in EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM2.09 million or RM536 psf while 13 units have been listed for rental with monthly asking price ranging from RM1,000 to RM14,000 or RM0.6 psf to RM5.38 psf
