Covid-19: Malaysia records 10 new cases, eight of them imported

Ministry of Health (MoH) Director-General (DG) Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah: With the 16 recoveries today, this means 8,994 or 96.8% of Covid-19 patients have recovered so far.
Meanwhile, seven more patients have recovered from Covid-19, bringing total recoveries to 8,978.
The four imported cases today involved foreigners who travelled from the Philippines (one case), Austria (one), Indonesia (one) and India (one). Two of the cases were detected in Selangor and two others in Kuala Lumpur, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Despite a higher number of new cases, active cases in the country stayed below the 200-level for the second consecutive day at 185 today.
According to the company’s website, Turiya is principally involved in the business of owning an office building and property management, investment holding and provision of management and consultancy services.
Of the seven new cases, four were imported cases involving two Malaysians and two foreigners.
