About This Project
**##Overview##**
Located nearby South of Klang city, Taman Sri Andalas is one of Klang’s largest residential townships, which was first developed around 1982. It is also close to Port Klang and is surrounded by Taman Bayu Perdana and Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (Klang GH) in the West, Taman Klang Jaya in the South, Taman Sri Istana in the North, while a host of other housing estates occupy its Western border. It is a multi-racial middleclass neighbourhood with Malays being the predominant race here. Quiet and peaceful in its residential sections, its main commercial centre along Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (PTAR) or Jalan Langat is quite the opposite being bustling with business activity.
The properties here are a mix of leasehold and freehold lands where there are single and double storey terrace houses, semi-detached and bungalow homes, and shop lots built in various phases over the years. There is much greenery with trees, palms, and bushes lining roads along the main and minor roads, the parks, lush ‘green lung’ hills, and playing fields. The enclave is self-contained with good facilities and amenities that support the needs of its inhabitants.
There are still clumps of natural green forests at various patches throughout this area which are yet to be developed or utilize. At the top of the hills of Taman Rakyat that occupies a large chunk of TSA, is a communications tower with water reservoirs that supply water with pressure head to the surrounding areas below. Although TSA is quite ideal for living and raising families, however, in recent years, the crime rate seems to have gone up noticeably with a spate of break-ins, robberies, snatch thefts and more recently, gangster-ism among school students here.

Taman Rakyat is an 81 acres attraction to thousands of people seeking recreation and physical exercise especially with its natural lush green environment and permanently anchored exercise equipment it has placed along its jogging tracks and trails. Every morning and evening, one will find people jogging and walking, while enjoying the fresh clean air, all over the park and its hills. At night a restaurant called Grill and Chop Kitchen, located in some structures near the public toilets, is open for business.
Within the main commercial centre are food outlets like McDonald’s, Mamak and Malay restaurants, and many others. Retail stores include 99-Speedmart, KK Supermart, motorcycle shops, Guardian Pharmacy, Cosway besides tyre shops, car assessories shops, Perodua showroom, dental clinics, clinics, and 7-Eleven, etc. There is also a Hong Leong Bank branch and a dialysis centre existing here.
Aeon Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre, Tesco Bukit Tinggi, and Giant Bukit Tinggi are 8 minutes’, 7 minutes’, and 9 minutes’ driving time away respectively from TSA. GH Hospital is just across PTAR from this development while Manipal Klang Specialist Medical Centre is about 3 KM away. SMK Taman Sri Andalas, SK Taman Sri Andalas and SRA Taman Sri Andalas are some of the schools within this development while there is also a fire station and Petronas petrol station established here.
**##Accessibility & Transportation##**
TSA is easily accessible by its main entrance at the T-Junction of PTAR and Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, which runs closely along the Southern border of this scheme from West to East that leads to Klang city, Kampung Padang Jawa, Bukit Kemuning and the KESAS Highway. Jalan Tun Dr. Ismail runs perpendicularly from Jalan Tun Abdul Razak that runs deep into the other housing parts of TSA. PTAR leads to Klang, Port Klang, and Banting and the KESAS Highway also. There are buses plying PTAR, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and other roads on a regular basis.
