About This Project
1-World is a condominium, nestled under the The One project in Bayan Baru, Penang. The One Penang Cyber City initiative is a township focusing on urban development with technology-infused concept, similar to Cyberjaya. The condominium consists of two 26-storey blocks, and 250 units shared between the two blocks. The units have a built-up from 1,380 sf to 1,650 sf. The units come with a subsale price that starts from RM490,000 onwards, and a rental from as low as RM1,200, as of 2017. Prospects can be assured that the price will be worth it, if they were to look at the amount of space they are given in a condominium unit, compared to the common prices elsewhere. 1-World is a bit unconventional when it comes to its line of facilities. For a new concept condominium, it doesn’t provide a lot, and it doesn’t even have a swimming pool, which would be rather surprising to those who are used to staying in high rise residences. However, there is a barbecue area for social gatherings, a gym and a jogging track for recreation, and a mini market within the vicinity for convenience sake. Other than that, it also comes with 24-hour security. Being in a “Cyber City”, tenants can be assured that they will be able to enjoy state-of-the-art amenities within the township. It is also close to landmarks like the Penang International Sports Arena (SPICE, formerly known as PISA) stadium, as well as the SPICE Aquatic centre. The Bayan Baru Police Station, Fire Department, and Pantai Mutiara Hospital are nearby. The condominium is also a stone’s throw away from D’Piazza Mall. Despite its distance from the common areas of Penang, such as Georgetown, 1-World tenants will be able to enjoy the nearby amenities, which includes government service offices, post offices, restaurants and banks. The residence is also close to a number of schools and tertiary education institutions. The nearest school to the condominium is Sekolah Kebangsaan Bayan Baru, while INTI International College Penang is just a short drive away. The residence is close to the Penang Bridge, which connects the island to the mainland, which makes travelling between the two areas much easier. The Penang Bridge is also part of the North-South Expressway (NSE), which allows easy access to other states as well. Should you need to travel by air, 1-World is also nearby the Penang Island International Airport.
