About This Project

Overview

Bukit Jelutong is a suburb in Shah Alam, Selangor. Covering more than 2,200 acres of freehold land, Bukit Jelutong is a planned township developed by Guthrie Property Development Holding Bhd, a subsidiary under Sime Darby. .

The township was previously an oil palm plantation estate called Bukit Jelutong Estate which is owned by Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad. Bukit Jelutong’s development started in 1995. The first development is Guthrie Pavilion which started groundworks in 1996.

Bukit Jelutong sits right next to plaza toll Shah Alam of North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE). The township is served by NKVE, the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), the Federal Highway and the North–South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), connecting it to established destinations in Klang Valley such as Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya and Klang.

The Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport is located less than 12km from the township, while a drive to Port Klang would take about 40 minutes.

Well-planned township

Nowadays, Bukit Jelutong has transformed to become a much sought-after address. Positioned as an upscale suburb, Bukit Jelutong mostly comprises of low-density bungalows, terraced houses and semidees. There are also a number of parks and green areas here.

Projects here include Primo III and Rimbun Sanctuary by Sime Darby Property, Radia Residences by Sime Darby Property and UEM Sunrise, Suria Residence by Sunsuria Bhd, as well as Condominium Elaeis 1 and Condominium Elaeis 2.

There is only a small commercial center in Bukit Jelutong, nonetheless, there are AEON Mall Shah Alam, Tesco Extra Shah Alam near the township for daily conveniences of the residents.

Bukit Jelutong is also close to several golf courses and country clubs such as Kelab Golf Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, the Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, the Monterez Golf & Country Club, and the Saujana Golf & Country Club. From Bukit Jelutong, only a 10-minute is needed to reach Shah Alam Stadium.

The township has an active residents association — the Bukit Jelutong Residents Association which facilitates a close-knit community. The residents association regularly organises carnivals and monitors the safety of the community.

In 1997, the township won an award under the ‘Best Town Planning Scheme Award’, MIP, and the ‘Best Neighbourhood Landscape in Selangor', Selangor State Government, in the year 2001.
