About This Project

**##Overview##** Bukit Beruntung, a township which is quite infamous for its failure and often called as the “ghost town”, was developed more than 2 decades ago. Located in Rawang of Hulu Selangor district, Selangor, the township comprises a mixed of terrace houses, apartments and retail units. Properties were targeted at buyers from Klang Valley and was marketed to the buyers as the “second Petaling Jaya”. The township neighbours other townships such as Bukit Sentosa, Sungai Buaya, Serendah and Sungai Choh. It is located about 14km from Rawang town. Just like locations such as Nilai and Putrajaya, developers were looking into Bukit Beruntung and its vicinity for developments as the district of Hulu Selangor was under consideration for few mega projects such as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, a sports centre, university, horse race course and National Zoo relocation. This lead to a rush to own properties in the location for own occupancy and investment opportunities. The properties offered attracted buyers and many jumped on the bandwagon to own properties here, believing to yield the benefits promised by developers. Unfortunately, over the years, appreciation of property prices in this area has not been healthy. The location can be seen having quite a number of properties which are abandoned and unoccupied, both by developers and buyers who could not benefit from it. Lack of proper planning and management and the almost absent public transportation resulted the township to have under-achieved from what it was envisioned to be. However, with planning by the state government to revive the location and recent positive outlook for Rawang, properties in Bukit Beruntung is believed to be appreciate in due time. **##Amenities and Facilities##** Bukit Beruntung offers plenty of shopping facilities such as Tesco Rawang, Mydin Rawang, Giant amd Parkson, apart from nearby facilities such as include mini markets, banks and surau. Neighbouring Bukit Sentosa offers the nearest police station, Tesco Express, Pasar Bukit Sentosa and Pasar Malam Bukit Sentosa. There are also numbers of F&B within the township and its vicinity. Educational institutions include SK Bukit Beruntung, SMK Taman Bunga Raya, Sek Rendah Agama Tmn Bunga Raya, SJKT Bukit Beruntung, SMK Bukit Sentosa, Sek Rendah Agama Bukit Sentosa, SJKC Bukit Tangga, Sek Ren Islam Integrasi Al- Amin Bukit Beruntung and PULAPOL Bukit Sentosa. Nearest medical facilities are Mediviron Bukit Beruntung, Aniza Medical Centre, Pudat Rawatan Islam Al-Mujahid, Klinik 1Malaysia Bukit Sentosa, Klinik Kesihatan Bukit Sentosa and KPJ Specialist Hospital Rawang. One of the main attractions of Bukit Beruntung is the Bukit Beruntung Golf & Country Club, located within the township. **##Accessibility and Transportation##** Bukit Beruntung is accessible via the Bukit Beruntung interchange of North-South Highway (PLUS). The township is located about 14km away from Rawang KTM station. The Bukit Sentosa Terminal caters bus and taxi services and there are free bus services to Kuala Kubu Bharu KTM station.
