The goal is to reach 20% of energy creation from renewable sources by 2025.

Energy, Technology, Science, Climate Change and Environment Minister Yeo Bee Yin told Parliament today that the LSS3 project has a total electricity generation capacity of 500 megawatts (MW). 

The minister says a change in ratings outlook is not a downgrade.

“If it is there then I would be having a big celebration. We wouldn’t have to take [the RM30 billion special dividend announced in Budget 2019] from Petronas,” he said.

“The PAC has made the decision to set three days (Dec 4-6) for the proceedings [on the audit report],” said PAC deputy chairman Wong Kah Woh.

Luxury cars with engine capacity of 1,500cc and below will not be eligible to receive the targeted subsidies because the government will also consider the model and type of the cars. – Lim

PAC deputy chairman Wong Kah Woh said the committee will start its reinvestigation on the Auditor-General’s report on 1MDB tomorrow and set the date to start its proceedings with the first witness; former auditor-general Tan Sri Ambrin Buang. 

Today, Rosmah's lawyer Datuk Geethan Ram Vincent told reporters that the defence team will file the application as soon as possible.

MoF highlighted that private consumption will remain the major growth determinant.
