The prosecution has failed to prove the monies were obtained from illegal activities.
Former health minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad contended that the high prevalence of reported sporadic cases right now is due to the federal government's failure to restrict infections within Covid-19 clusters that have spilt over to infect communities, causing an outbreak.

"We observed that 80% of current infections are not in clusters but are sporadic. This means that Covid-19 is already in the community and this is why we are worried that the number of cases may rise."
The group, however, denied that the enterprise value of the sale would be RM5.2 billion.
"Based on the increasing trend of daily Covid-19 cases, the government has decided to take more drastic and stringent measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 infections in the community and prevent a sharp increase in cases," Muhyiddin said.

"The next case management date will be on June 1."
The defence had requested for the trial to be postponed as one of its team members is under quarantine due to being in close contact with a number of Covid-19 positive patients.
