KUALA LUMPUR: Land & General Bhd (L&G) completed the acquisition of 2.6 acres of freehold land in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, for RM55 million, it was announced on Bursa Malaysia on May 18.

This was done through joint-venture company Elite Forward Sdn Bhd, which was formed when wholly-owned L&G subsidiary Synergy Score Sdn Bhd entered into a joint-venture-cum-shareholder’s agreement with Forward Splendour Sdn Bhd, a related company of Mayland Parkview Sdn Bhd.

The land was bought from Sazean Holdings Sdn Bhd and L&G plans to develop high-end serviced apartments on it.
