KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 18): Ayer Holdings Bhd’s (KL:AYER) Erica Residence in Bandar Bukit Puchong, Selangor has become the first landed property project in Malaysia to achieve the GreenRE Platinum Provisional Certification, according to a press statement on Saturday (Nov 16).

Spread across a 7.2-acre tract, Erica Residence comprises 68 units of three-storey semi-detached homes that come in built-ups starting from 3,399 sq ft and selling prices from RM2.4 million. Launched on Sept 7, the project has a gross development value of RM149 million.

In the statement, Ayer Holdings deputy group CEO Joanne Lee said, “Receiving the GreenRE Platinum [Provisional] Certification reaffirms our commitment to creating sustainable living spaces that meet the needs of our residents while prioritising the preservation of our environment.”

Some green features in the development include a solar system for water heating, enhanced glazing, roof insulation and daylight harvesting through skylights.

The certificate was presented by GreenRE Sdn Bhd executive director Ashwin Thurairajah to Lee at the certificate handover ceremony. It was witnessed by Sepang Municipal Council chairman Datuk Abd Hamid Hussain.

To date, Ayer Holdings has completed 6,117 residential units and 1,026 commercial units in Bandar Bukit Puchong. The statement revealed that the developer plans to incorporate sustainable features for all of its future developments.
