• In its 10th anniversary celebration last week, the agency also signed a new MOU with EdgeProp to expand its market reach and sharpen its competitive edge.

KUALA LUMPUR (July 11): Gather Properties Sdn Bhd is seeking to launch its iGen Elite Programme in the near future. The training programme will focus on nurturing the next generation of property agents, helping to shape them into future leaders.

This was revealed by Gather Properties’ licence holder and managing director Vincent Tan Voon Choon during the celebration of the agency’s 10th anniversary in a dinner and awards’ night here last week.

The event also saw the signing of a new memorandum of understanding with EdgeProp, marking a second chapter of the strategic partnership which started in 2022.

“This anniversary marks a decade of growth, success, and resilience in the real estate industry. It is an opportunity to celebrate the company’s achievements, acknowledge the hard work and dedication of its employees, reinforce relationships with clients and partners, and set the stage for future goals and aspirations,” said Tan.

First established in 2014 by Tan, Gather Properties has expanded significantly, to offer its services across Malaysia, with 30 dedicated staff members, 20 branch offices, and about 2,000 agents. Since 2023, the company has opened several new branches across Selangor, and in Johor, Penang and Melaka.

“The new branches have allowed Gather Properties to extend its footprint into key urban and suburban areas, enhancing accessibility for clients. Additionally, the strategic locations of the branches optimise resource allocation, ensuring efficient service delivery and operational excellence,” Tan added.

The company also plans to continue its expansion across Malaysia, with upcoming branches in Kuantan, Sabah and Sarawak.

“This growth trajectory underscores Gather Properties' strategic vision. It is a reflection of the company's robust expansion strategy and commitment to serving a broader client base,” Tan said.

On the collaboration with EdgeProp, Tan said: “EdgeProp is a well-known platform that could provide Gather Properties with greater visibility and brand recognition in the real estate market. Access to EdgeProp’s comprehensive property data and market insights can enhance our decision-making processes and strategy formulation.

“It also offers us access to advanced technology solutions. This can improve our property management and customer engagement. The partnership can also provide us a competitive edge by leveraging EdgeProp’s expertise and resources, helping Gather Properties stay ahead in the industry”.
