• ERA Realtor CEO Tai Eefan: “We serve all — local customers, foreign customers and developers.”

KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): ERA Realtor Sdn Bhd recorded sales totalling RM10 million for the May to December 2023 period.

This was revealed during the recent signing of a memorandum of understanding between the agency and EdgeProp to enhance the former’s marketing tools.

Speaking to EdgeProp, ERA Realtor CEO Tai Eefan said the formula for the company’s success is based on its core values of unity, integrity, innovation, gratitude and passion.

“We back this up with on-going training and encourage a willingness to share among the agents to help all to reach greater achievements,” said Tai.

“We have ongoing development training, project briefing, marketing workshop and summit. We also team up with ERA Singapore for a three-day, two-night camp.

“We want them to be professional and sales-oriented. We have campaigns with travel incentives to encourage our agents, plus incentive schemes to encourage leaders to build their teams,” Tai shared.

Founded by Tai and the principal, Lim Ah Leck, the real estate agency started out as New Bob Realty Sdn Bhd before rebranding itself in 2020 as ERA Realtor and assimilating itself into ERA’s Real Estate Business System. The global brand comprises over 36,000 associates in 32 countries worldwide, including 17,000 associates in 10 countries across Asia Pacific.

Since then, ERA Realtor has grown to 13 registered estate agents, 16 probationary estate agents and 650 real estate negotiators, with work hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, and Horizon Hills, Kulai and R&F Princess Cove in Johor.

“We aim to have branches in Kluang, Kuantan and Seremban in our short-term plans. In the long term, we hope to have offices in all of Malaysia,” said Tai, adding that its services cover rental, sub-sales, auction and project marketing for all kinds of properties including residential, commercial, industrial and land.

“We serve all — local customers, foreign customers and developers,” he said.

ERA Realtor has its own MyERA Apps for communication and publications of all company events and trainings; internal listing sharing system; and document-sharing such as memos, training notes and slide handouts.

To complement that, Tai sees the collaboration with EdgeProp as an enhancement to its digital presence, both internally and externally.

“This collaboration will enhance our marketing methods and increase our brand to the public,” he added.

Meanwhile, EdgeProp head of sales Stannly Tan said that he was happy that ERA Realtor had chosen the portal as a partner.

“We know that the ERA network is highly dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. EdgeProp’s digital tools in property marketing will prove to be a strong support to ERA Realtor on fulfilling these expectations,” said Tan.
