Subang Jaya, Malaysia’s fourth most populous city, is interestingly, the sister city of Hioki, in Japan’s Kagoshima prefecture. Subang Jaya has come a long way early development, and now houses a number of popular shopping malls, trendy cafes and creative spaces (SS15 we’re looking at you), and of course, the best buttermilk chicken in Selangor. The city is also home to other popular suburbs like Putra Heights, Bandar Sunway, and UEP Subang Jaya.
According to Zarishah Zakaria (REN25519) (017-257 2900) of IQI Realty Sdn Bhd, who closed the deal, the owner of the property located in USJ16, was looking to cash out. The buyers swooped in for the deal, as they liked the location of the property and its security, it’s in a gated-and-guarded community. All parties walked away satisfied that their expectations were met.
As of end-December 2023, there are a total of 18 listings for sale in USJ16, with an average asking price of RM1,149,444 or RM547.53 psf. As for rental listings, there’s one with a monthly rent of RM4,000 or RM1.60 psf.
