KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): Datin Koh Ah Nee has resigned as TCS Group Holdings Bhd’s executive director effective Wednesday (April 26).

Koh, 61, the wife of TCS Group managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng, resigned "to pursue other personal interests", the construction group said in a bourse filing.

Koh controls a 9.31% stake in TCS Group, according to Bloomberg data.

In another filing, TCS Group announced the appointment of Sharon Chew Mun Hoong, 51, as the group's independent and non-executive director.

"Sharon Chew has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and capital market industry. She has extensive experience in the financial services industry with a strong commercial, financial and operational track record, holding senior leadership positions in global financial banks and local financial institutions,” the group said.

She had served as HSBC Bank's vice president for global custody and securities operations for Asia Pacific, Deutsche Bank (M) Bhd's head of global securities operations, and RHB Investment Bank's head of global operations covering asset management, unit trust, private banking and the trustees business across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong.

Shares in TCS Group ended half a sen or 2.13% higher at 24 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM91.73 million.
