KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 8): Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PjH) kicked off the year with the launch of Residensi Sakura in Precinct 11, Putrajaya on Feb 4 and 5.

With units priced from RM350,000, the freehold project is offering 463 medium-range apartment units over two blocks, of which 50% were already taken up during its recent soft launch on Jan 28 and 29. Meanwhile, the developer is offering a 0% down payment promotion.

Residensi Sakura has a total gross development value of RM240 million, and is being developed on a 5.4-acre (2.19-hectare) parcel. The project offers six types of floor plans with built-ups of 828 sq ft, 957 sq ft and 2,120 sq ft, with the latter being a dual-key unit. The development is slated to be completed in the second quarter of 2024.

In a press release, PjH chief executive officer Datuk Hashimah Hashim said: “We view our role as the master developer of Putrajaya as more than just a developer. Beyond that, we believe it is our duty to build a vibrant city with a thriving socio-economic ecosystem.

“What we are striving to create here is a truly sustainable and progressive city. That has been our vision since our inception, and we’re very excited about the launch of Residensi Sakura because it marks another major step forward in that direction,” she added.

According to the press release, Residensi Sakura will come with lifestyle facilities, and the development will be surrounded by greenery, as it is located within the landscape plan of Putrajaya’s Masterplan.

The statement added that the development is “an excellent investment option as well as the ideal home for the young and active modern family”.

In the development’s vicinity are amenities such as schools, parks, neighbourhood community and recreational centres, including a swimming pool and sports facilities.

The statement added that other plus points of Residensi Sakura are its connectivity and accessibility to major highways, and its proximity to key transport points such as the ERL and MRT Line 2.
