It was back in 1997 when Datuk Seri Ng Thien Phing founded NTP World Forum as a corporate training provider with some of the best clientele in the country. Driven by a bigger vision, Ng subsequently started NTP World Group with diversified business interests in training & education, IT rental & solutions and property investment.

In 2008, he decided to embark on the property development business with the establishment of NTP World Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of NTP World Group. For the next five years, NTP World underwent a series of corporate exercises, which included the acquisition of a 40-acre site in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, and then another 13 acres of quality land, also in the country’s capital city.

Additionally, SkyWorld has pledged that all its projects will be certified with Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC). QLASSIC is a system or method to measure and evaluate the workmanship quality of a building construction work based on Construction Industry Standard (CIS 7:2006). QLASSIC also enables the quality of workmanship between construction projects to be objectively compared through a scoring system.

“SkyWorld has proven our quality commitment by achieving the highest QLASSIC scores for our projects in Malaysia. For instance, in year 2020, SkyLuxe On The Park has achieved an 85% score in the high-rise residential category whereas SkyAwani2 Residences has scored 79% in the Residensi Wilayah category,” says SkyWorld CEO Lee Chee Seng, adding that all SkyWorld developments are underpinned by three key strengths – Value Creation, Innovation and Sky Living Experience.

Lee adds that SkyWorld is always committed to delivering its projects on time to its homebuyers, who have trusted the developer with their hard-earned life savings.

“We understand that purchasing a home is no small feat. It is a major investment decision that requires a serious financial commitment. “We always believe in staying lean and focused on our strength. As a city developer, all our developments are within KL, so there is an ease for authority approval and requirements.

“We also prioritise on remaining relevant with the times. We have a group-wide digitalisation drive (robotic process in repetitive manual work), which includes performing e-documentation and e-approval, lead and booking system automation as well as system-generated reports,” Lee adds.
