KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 3): A golfer suffered minor injuries when a tree fell on his buggy here yesterday, reported The Star.
A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department said the victim was playing at a golf course near Jalan Bukit Kiara when the accident took place.
"A call regarding the incident was received at around 5.29pm.
"The tree and its branches fell onto the golf buggy which carried the victim and another man. The victim has been sent to hospital for further treatment," the spokesperson told the English daily.
The report also mentioned that several people attempted to help the victim trapped in the buggy.
