PETALING JAYA (June 29): A water tank atop the upscale Palazio Serviced Apartment in Johor Bahru burst today, causing a "waterfall" to gush from the roof of the building.

The incident – where water poured from the roof down the façade of the building – was filmed by a pedestrian at about 7am today and posted the video to a Facebook group.

Oriental Daily reported that the incident happened on the rooftop of Block C2 and the issue is still being dealt with.

It is unclear what caused the water tank to burst.

In the meantime, the management of the apartment has shut off the water to rectify the issue, according to the daily.
