PETALING JAYA (June 21): Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar may resign from his positions as chairman of Permodalan Nasional Bhd and Sime Darby Property Bhd, reported The Malaysian Reserve.

He is currently negotiating his exit terms and is expected to leave as early as next month, sources told the publication.

Wahid is also expected to leave state-linked property developer Sime Darby Property.

He declined to comment on his plans when met recently, said the newspaper.
