PETALING JAYA (April 18): Eastern & Oriental Bhd (E&O) has recorded 87% take-up for phase 2 of its Ariza Seafront Terraces comprising 35 units of landed homes in Seri Tanjung Pinang (STP), Penang. They were launched on March 23.

According to the developer, the 2.5-storey, freehold Ariza Seafront Terraces homes are among the final landed homes to be launched in Seri Tanjung Pinang.

Phase 1, which comprises 33 units, was launched in 2009 and is fully sold.

“Ariza features distinctive Straits-eclectic architecture and elegant interior courtyards, showcasing the seamless blending of modern living standards with Penang’s old-world charm.

“Leveraging on its prime seafront location, Ariza offers homeowners a much-coveted seafronting lifestyle at Penang Island’s address of choice,” said E&O senior general manager for group marketing and sales Wayne Wong in a statement today.

With a gross development value of RM90 million, the 4-bedroom and 4-bathroom homes in phase 2 are slated for completion by March 2019. The homes have built-ups ranging between 3,488 sq ft and 3,781 sq ft with prices starting from RM2.9 million.

Wong added that the interest garnered for Ariza Seafront Terraces is a testament that discerning homeowners’ demand for high quality homes remains strong despite the current soft market conditions.

“With our proven track record in delivering exceptional homes, backed by Seri Tanjung Pinang’s outstanding location, Ariza is well-positioned to offer our customers an opportunity to own a home at one of the island’s most sought-after addresses,” he added.

E&O’s established brand and reputation as a premier lifestyle property developer has also contributed to the developer’s recent success in securing a joint venture with Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP) to jointly develop phase 2A of Seri Tanjung Pinang phase 2, he said.
