PETALING JAYA (Jan 24): EcoFirst Consolidated Bhd saw 90% of Block B and C in its Liberty Arc project in Ampang Ukay taken up ahead of the official launch in March.
“The take-up rate for Block A is about 30%. The project is progressing well under schedule, as the site earthworks have been completed and piling works are ongoing,” group CEO of EcoFirst Consolidated Datuk Tiong Kwing Hee told TheEdgeProperty.com.
The 87-acre Ampang Ukay is the latest project by the developer and has a gross development value (GDV) of RM5 billion.
Liberty Arc @ Ampang Ukay is the first phase of the freehold development, comprising three tower blocks of 1,632 Small-office Home-office (SoHo) units and 32 retail units with an estimated GDV of RM606.8 million.
Prices for the SoHo units with built-up sizes of 450 sq ft range from RM700 psf to RM750 psf while the retail units will be owned and rented out by EcoFirst.
“The development embodies everything EcoFirst strives to deliver: location, pricing and product quality. So far, we have managed to deliver all three in all of our products.
“Ampang Ukay with its good connectivity is sure to impress anybody who is looking for a place within proximity to Kuala Lumpur, it is not easy to find a property like that located only seven minutes’ drive to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre,” added Tiong.
According to Tiong, phase 1 of Ampang Ukay is slated for completion in 2019. He expects phase 2 of Ampang Ukay to launch in the second half of the company’s next financial year (FY2018).
Ampang Ukay is accessible via major highways such as Middle Ring Road, Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway and the upcoming Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway highway.
