Pasir Gudang Specialist Hospital, KPJ Pasir Gudang Hospital, and Pasir Gudang Government Clinic are some of the medical facilities nearby within short driving away from this development. SK Kopok Pasir Gudang, Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, Kompleks Institusi Pendidikan Taman Scientex, SK Taman Nusa Damai, SMK Taman Nusa Damai, SK Cendana and SK Taman Bukit Dahlia are the main academic centres within and nearby this housing scheme. Meanwhile Bukit Layang Laying recreational park and Tanjung Puteri Golf Club are 3 minutes and 17 minutes drive time away only. **##Accessibility & Transportation##**The main road in Taman Scientex is Jalan Persiaran Scientex, which runs from North to the South of this township, links up with Jalan Besar in the southern tip and also with Jalan Kong Kong in the East which in-turn links up Lebuhraya Senai-Desaru in the North-East. There are, neither bus, nor rail services here, which does make this township a bit isolated.
