Bandar Mahkota Cheras, located in district of Ulu Langat, Selangor, was established around the year 2000 by developer Narajaya Sdn Bhd (subsidiary of Lion Group). The freehold township, covering over 1000 acres, was considered as one of the desired location about a decade ago for KL homebuyers who were looking for affordable houses and for those who were aiming for a suburban lifestyle away from the city.

Bandar Mahkota Cheras is a popular area for homeseekers as evident in it being one of EdgeProp.my’s most searched areas in the Klang Valley in 2019.
As at January 2020, a bungalow unit at Bandar Mahkota Cheras was sold for RM2.25 million. The buyer liked the unit for its spaciousness and the wide street in front of the house.
