KUALA LUMPUR (April 23): Inta Bina Group Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM169.67 million to develop a serviced apartment project in Country Heights.

In a bourse filing on Tuesday, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Inta Bina Sdn Bhd received the contract from Next Delta Sdn Bhd.

The job scope involves the development of two blocks of serviced apartments, one podium block comprising parking lots and facilities, as well as a guard house in Tropicana Metropark, Country Heights.

The construction period would be 33 months from the commencement date, it added.

As at Dec 31, 2023, Inta Bina reported an unbilled orderbook of RM1 billion. Earlier this month, Inta Bina also received a RM348.92 million contract from Eco Ardence Sdn Bhd for the main building works of the proposed Maya Integrated Development.

For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2023 (FY2023), the company saw its net profit more than double to RM22.87 million from RM9.55 million due to improvements in gross profit margin.

Its revenue jumped 39.4% to RM650.11 million from RM466.27 million, mainly from the construction of residential and commercial properties.

Shares of Inta Bina remained unchanged at 37.5 sen at Tuesday’s market close, valuing the group at RM203 million.
